Richard Stehlik

 Richard Charles Stehlik, 95, of Miamisburg, Ohio, previously from Waynesboro Virginia of 45 years died peacefully on February 27th with family by his side following a short illness. He was the husband of the late Mary Anne (Gehringer) Stehlik. Born in New York City on February 15, 1930, he is the son of the late Louis and Mildred (Tancredi) Stehlik.

Surviving is his loving family, daughter, Jane Thomson (John) of Atlanta, GA, son, Joseph Stehlik (Linda) of Franklin, Ohio, sister Joanne (Stehlik) Carway of Cape Coral, Florida, and grandchildren Jack and Mary Catherine Thomson, and Daniel Stehlik. 

Richard was a lover of the arts evident first through his initial career as a professional singer and later through his unending enjoyment found in collecting paintings and artwork. 

A memorial mass will be celebrated at noon on Tuesday, March 18th in the chapel at The Community of the Good Shepherd church in Cincinnati, Ohio followed by internment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 11:45 am prior to the mass in the Chapel vestibule entering through church door number five.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 7575 Paragon Road, Dayton, OH 45459.
