Dick

Richard A. Togni, Jr., of Middletown, Ohio, passed away October 10, 2024 at the age of 81. He was born September 23, 1943 in Syracuse, New York to Richard A. and Theresa (Dalfonso) Togni, Sr.

As a young boy, Dick met the love of his life, Patti Krigbaum in Junior School. In fact, he told his buddy at the time, "I am going to marry that girl". And he was right. On January 12, 1963, the couple said "I Do". A hard worker. He worked many jobs to provide for his family. Dick began his career as a plant manager at Johns Manville and later retired from BNZ Materials in Zelienople, PA. He loved working in his yard and gardening. He loved his Italian heritage and his family. Dick will be forever loved and cherished by all that knew him.

Dick was preceded in death by: parents, Richard and Theresa Togni, Sr.; children, Baby Boy Togni, Trisha Togni, and Richard A. Togni, III; and sister, Annie Togni.

Dick is survived by: wife of 61 years, Patti Togni; children, Margie Canavan, Elizabeth Togni, and Joseph Togni; grandchildren, Billy Reynolds III, Justin (Stacy) Canavan, Richie (Charlene) Henry, Logan and Connor Henry, Kyra and Darby Togni; great-grandchildren, Rory Reynolds, Gabe, Oliver and Evelyn Canavan, Eli Martin, and Liam Henry; siblings, Chris and Bev Togni; and many loving family members and friends.

 Following Dick's instructions, the family will hold a private prayer service at their home.
