Robert Owen Carothers

Robert O. Carothers , 87 of Maineville, passed away on March 28, 2022. Born to Ira and Adelaide Carothers on April 22, 1934 in Sharpsville, PA.

Bob married the love of his life, Gurley (Simpson) Carothers on June 23, 1960. He enjoyed talking to his grandchildren and getting the recent updates from them. He loved hearing about their life stories and always gave them his advice to follow. Bob was an educated chemical engineer and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his grandkids.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Adelaide, his wife, Gurley (Simpson) Carothers, his brother, David Allen Carothers.

Bob is survived by his two sons, David (Carol) Carothers and Keith (Sandy) Carothers, daughter, Andrea (Chris) Hogan and nine grandchildren, Justin Carothers, Brad (Katie) Carothers, Nicole Carothers, Derek Carothers, Natalie Carothers, Andrew Carothers, Paige Carothers, Owen Hogan, and Garrett Hogan.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
