Robert 'Bob' M. Etherington

Robert 'Bob' M. Etherington, 84, of Cincinnati passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.  He was born on January 27, 1936 to Robert F. and Matilda (nee Arnold) Etherington.

Bob was very patriotic and was proud to let you know that all of his brothers served in the military as well. Bob loved to spend time with his family and found great joy watching every activity involving his grandchildren . He was a proud fan at all of their events. Bob also enjoyed cars and drag racing. He worked for 35 years for Ford Motor Company and loved coaching and playing softball in Ford's softball league . He was also an avid bowler and loved watching his Princeton Vikings, Reds, Bengals and Bearcats.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lois (nee Wethington) Etherington, his parents, Robert F. and Matilda Etherington, and his brothers, Thomas and Jack Etherington.

Bob is survived by his children, Teri (Tom) Bickel and Robert 'Rob' (Traci) Etherington, his grandchildren, Kelli Kress, Alex Kress, Nick Kress, Maggie Etherington, Abbie Etherington, and Emma Etherington. Bob is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Graveside Service and Military Honors will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246 at 2:00 PM. Please adhere to all Covid -19 recommendations . A more social event to celebrate Bob’s life will be planned at a more appropriate time in the future due to Covid-19 concerns.
