Robert Vincent Glutting

Robert Vincent Glutting, 89 of West Chester passed away on May 22, 2023, with his family by his side. Born to Carl and Eleanor (nee Airhart) Glutting on April 4, 1934, in North Canton, Ohio.

Robert was a hard worker and a dedicated employee. He worked in the metal industry all the way up until the age of 86 years old. He was passionate and driven, but most importantly he enjoyed working. Robert was even nominated in 1999 as Entrepreneur of the Year in Cincinnati.

He was an avid golfer, loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and trap shooting. His family was his pride and joy, and he was a devoted husband and father.

Preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings Wanda and Richard.

Robert is survived by his wife of 68 years, June (nee Gladfelter) Glutting, children, Keith (Judy) Glutting, Chris (Charlet Lacefield) Glutting, Brenda (Drew) Smith, Bobbi (Robert Collett) Burwell, grandchildren, Matt (Pam) Glutting, Adam (Carla) Glutting, Ashley (Greg) Napier, Care (Luke) Johnson, Bret (Anna) Glutting, Krystal (Michael) Childers, Sam (Lacey) Smith and Courtney (Kevin) Durrough, and fourteen great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26th from 1030-1130am with a memorial service at 1130am all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. Inurnment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Hospice of Cincinnati.
