Robert F. 'Bob' Graham

December 18, 1937 — April 5, 2020

United States Air Force Veteran

Robert 'Bob' F. Graham , age 82, of Glendale, Ohio, loving husband, devoted father, caring grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 5th.  Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Willadene (Abbott); Children, daughter Rhonda Eutsey, daughter Gwen (Jim) Belcher, daughter Mindy (Michael) Suer and son Doug (Jennifer) Graham; Grandchildren Nick, Elizabeth, John, Andy, Jeffrey, Brent, Nate, Cody, and Caden; Great-grandchildren Kendal, Aliyah, Layla, Brionna, Isaac,  Isabella, Allison, Michael, and Gabriel; Brother of Bill, Linda, Donna and Connie. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Graham and brother Gary.

Bob was an active member of the Springdale Nazarene Church for 63 years. His dedication to the church led to many ministry opportunities, from serving on the church board, being an usher, working the sound board, teaching Sunday school, to driving the church bus. When there was a need, he fulfilled it willingly.

Bob served in the United States Air Force as a C-130 crew chief.  As a civilian, he continued his passion for the Air Force and everything to do with airplanes and aviation.

Bob also loved history, the outdoors, gardening, and became an avid woodworker. He spent many special times at the Mason Christian Village woodworking shop making beautiful creations for his family.

Our dad, our “Papa Joe,” had the best corny jokes, wonderful stories from the past, a caring ear, a huge loving heart, playful ornery spirit, and wise suggestions for us all. We are going to miss our dear dad, but know he is having a celebration in heaven.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, April 9th at the Mueller Funeral Home. A family graveside service will be at the Hillsboro Cemetery.  Pastor Marshall Duke (beloved friend) will officiate services for the family.

The family has thoughtfully decided to delay a memorial service to memorialize Bob’s life. The memorial service will be planned at a later date, but will occur at Springdale Nazarene Church.  Further details will be shared later with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Mason Christian Village, Benevolent Fund,  411 Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040 or Queen City Hospice, 4605 Duke Dr, Suite 220, Mason, OH 45040.
