Robert Leo Raleigh, 70 of West Chester, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was born Tuesday, December 19, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to William and Nannie Lou (nee Gillium) Raleigh.

After graduation, Bob joined the United States Navy and was assigned to the USS Aylwin. During that time, Bob married his high school sweetheart, Mary Jayne Jennings on July 1, 1972. After Bob was honorably discharged from the Navy, he was able to pursue his lifetime passion of playing drums for many local bands in Cincinnati, and on the west coast. He later played with the band The Classix in Cincinnati from 1986 to 2007 and taught drum lessons after retirement. Drums were a passion and he was always drumming on something. His hands and feet were never still.

A people person, Bob never knew a stranger and never forgot a name or a face. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He was also an avid reader and had an extensive library of mostly religious books and any and everything about drums.

Bob retired from The Cincinnati Financial Corporation after 40 years on June 26, 2014. He worked for many years in the printing department and took great pride in his work and devotion to the company. He worked hard to provide for his wife and three daughters and did so with a constant smile and positive attitude. An avid dog lover, Bob also furnished 5 star accommodations for his "boys", Leo and Sammy.

Bob will be forever remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his good nature, and quit witted responses that kept you laughing. He will be cherished and will never be forgotten by all that knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of 49 years of Mary Jayne Raleigh; devoted father of April Francom, Jennifer Raleigh, and Mia Raleigh; loving grandpa of Jackson Francom, Ty Francom, William Francom, Tate Francom, Emmalyne Francom, Johanna Theetge, Isabella Theetge, Miles Theetge, Lila Theetge, and Jensen Raleigh; great grandpa of Violet Francom; dear brother of Peggy Woolum; aunts and uncles, a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many amazing friends.

Visitation will be Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will beTuesday, October 5, 2021 at 2:15 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery with military honors to follow.
