Robert S. Schneider

Robert S. Schneider, 88 of Maineville, passed away on May 1, 2022. Born to Robert J. and Lois (nee Carlson) Schneider on April 4, 1934, in Elgin, Illinois.

Bob was in sales for a home furnishing company which required him to travel often. On the weekends, he always took time to spend with his wife and children. He was a devoted family man.

Bob was a proud veteran in the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage. Going to military museums or air shows were some of his greatest passions..

He was a lifetime Chicago Cubs fan, an avid reader and also enjoyed fishing with friends and family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lois Schneider and infant son, Mark Edward Schneider.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Joanne (nee Shafer) Schneider, four children, Steven Schneider, Brett Schneider, Michael Schneider, and Diana (Glenn) Schambach, two sisters, Ann Wilson and Ila Rogman and many cousins and extended family.

A service will be held on the convenience of the family. Inurnment in Dayton National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Bob’s name to St Jude Research or Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.
