Ronald Loveless

December 7, 1945 — October 29, 2021

Ronald Matthew Loveless, 75 of Cincinnati, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021. Born to Warner and Thelma (nee Helfrey) Loveless on December 7, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ron was husband to Everitta and a father to Lisa and David. He was a Plant Manager for over 35 years at Cincinnati Industrial Machinery. During his working years he made time to travel with his family on vacations across the United States. He and his wife also enjoyed their many trips riding across the country on their Goldwing motorcycle with their friends, drinking, dancing and playing jokes on each other along the way.

After retiring from CIM he took a job driving a bus for Mercy Franciscan’s Schroder nursing home, taking the residents to and from doctors appointment. He told many stories of those residents, some very funny and some very sad. He treated them like family he truly loved them.

Ron had a great sense of humor, was a joke teller and could remember any joke no matter how long or complicated it was. He loved to socialize and was a firm believer in being punctual. He loved to be outdoors, camp and travel. He looked forward to stopping in at McCauly’s Pub to meet with his friends and have a few beers. Cooking was something Ron enjoyed, and was so happy when his kids and grandkids would come to eat what he had prepared. He valued his time spent with his children and grandchildren and he loved the company of his great-grandsons and the “thumbs up” he taught them. He will be missed by so many.

Ron also loved his dogs, they already miss him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Warner and Thelma Loveless, his two siblings, Frankie Loveless and Janet Dennis, and his childhood best friend, Tom Cornwell.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Everitta ‘Rita’ Loveless, two children, Lisa (Shane) Slay and David (Donna Ison) Loveless, two grandchildren, Ashlee (Shawn) Heine and Blake Slay, two great-grandchildren, Paxton Matthew Heine and Jack Erikson Heine, two sisters, Wanda Leifheit and Ginger (Dean) Southerland and many nieces and nephews.
