Ronald E. “Ronnie” Peacock, age 70, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of February 6, 2025, surrounded by his family in Middletown, Ohio. Born on February 7, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Manville Earl and Marjorie Edith (Cureton) Peacock. Ronnie graduated from Fairfield High School, class of 1972 and then dedicated many years to his career at Home Depot, where he took great pride in his work before retiring. He was also known for his outstanding carpentry skills, his compassion for animals, and demonstrating a profound love for nature, which earned him the nickname “Ranger Ron”. His sense of humor always lit up the room and he never met a stranger. Ronnie was a devoted family man and is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Norma Peacock; children Justin (Kalicia) Peacock and Kellie (Matt) Adams. He cherished his role as Grandpa to Tristan, Bella, and Gavin. He is survived by his sister, Trina (Greg) Johnson and preceded in death by his brother, Daryl Peacock. Additionally, Ronnie dearly loved all of his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In honor of his memory, a memorial gathering will be held at Mueller Hicks Funeral Home, located at 6780 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, Ohio 45005, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, with a memorial service to follow at 1:00PM. Ronnie’s spirit and love for his family will be cherished by all who knew him.
