Ronnie Alan Barnes

Ronnie Alan Barnes , 72, of Lebanon, devoted husband of more than 46 years of Billie Jo Barnes (nee Banks); loving father of Becci (Russ) McQueen, Ronda Barnes, and Veronica (Scott) Keen; caring grandfather of Stephanie (J.C.) Goins, Jacob McQueen, Cullen Keen, and Savannah Wilburn; great-grandfather of A.J., Isaiah, Harliegh, R.J., Addaliegh and the late Makynliegh; brother of Sandra (the late, Tony) Dawson and John R. (Polly) Barnes; and uncle to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Carrie (nee Sargent) Barnes.

Ronnie was an incredible athlete. He ran more than six hundred 5k, 10k, 15k, and marathons all over the Tri-State area. He had the honor of being a torch runner for the 2002 Olympics. He was a long time member of the Ohio River Roadrunner Club. He also enjoyed going out to play a round of golf, socializing at the Lebanon YMCA, woodworking, and going to the theater.

Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday, August 9th from 10:30 AM until time of Service at 1:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Fellowship Cemetery.
