KOREAN WAR VETERAN
Roy L. Williams, 87 of Mason, OH passed away on June 4, 2022. Roy was born in Malta, OH to Howard and Juanita (nee Barnes) Williams.
Roy was a man with a strong Christian faith. As a husband, father, grandfather he lived and taught his family the values of being a Christian. He attended M&M (Malta and McConnelsville) High School (Class of 1953) where he was a star athlete. He was a three-sport letterman and Captain of his team. Roy was a very dedicated man in all aspects of life. He took pride in being an inspector for the US Post Service for 25 years, as well as serving his country in the Army during the Korean War and his commitment to his church. Roy was a avid reader and lifelong Buckeye fan. He liked to spend time around the lake fishing and hitting the links for a round of golf. Above all he enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed.
Roy is the beloved husband of the late Patricia J. (nee Dew), devoted father of Valerie Grace (Dean), Don 'Paul' Williams (Monica), Lori Trammel (Monty), Andrew Williams (Kimberly) and Angela Stone (Jerry), loving grandfather of Jessica, Matthew (Annie), Megan, Emily (Cory), Nathan (Lindsey), Ben (Ashley), Zak (Wesley), Mitch (Stephanie), Tyler, Rachel (Austin) and Sam (Hayley) and great-grandfather of 16, uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Serenity Baptist Church, 9000 Cox Rd, West Chester, OH 45069 on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12 noon.
