Samuel Gene Clouse

Samuel G. Clouse, age 91 passed away on March 8, 2024.

Sam was born on July 1, 1933, to John and Martha (nee Smith) Clouse in Crane Nest, Kentucky.

Sam served in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955 then joining the Army Reserves. After his time in the military, he went on to work in a variety of roles at manufacturing companies. Sam loved everything about cars. He enjoyed going to classic car shows with his family, watching NASCAR, and working on cars. He was always able to find something to fix, either a car or something, around the house. He enjoyed country music and telling stories about his time growing up on a farm.

Sam is survived by his daughters; Debbie Carter, Teresa Bain, Kathy Osie, Sametta Davis. Grandchildren; Terry, Todd, Lori, Charles, Casey, Mike, Greg, Sara, Tiffany, Rachel, Cody, Brian, Randie and Katie. 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Delores many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Sam is preceded in death by his first wife Marie (nee Gray) Clouse and his second wife Eldalene (nee Burton) Clouse. His daughters Sheila Ferrill and Sandra Wilson. Also preceded in death by his siblings Leonard, Matt, Effie, Elaine, Rose, and Sara.

Services for Sam will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Mueller Funeral Home (6791 Tylersville Road, Mason OH 45040) from 10:30 AM until time of service at 1:00PM burial will follow at West Chester Cemetery 6425 W Chester Road, West Chester OH 45069.
