Scott Hover , of Loveland, Colorado, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at the young age of 54. He was born Friday, December 10, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John E. and Barbara Lee (nee Dinse) Hover.
Throughout his life Scott was an avid, though sometimes frustrated, Bengals fan and an overall proud Cincinnatian. When not working Scott liked to play golf, go to concerts, and spend time with his young dog, Stella. Scott loved the travel opportunities afforded to him through his work with GE including living in Houston, South Carolina, and Denver. He loved to explore new places and try new restaurants wherever he went. Family and friendships were always of the upmost importance to him, and no matter where his job took him he put effort into maintaining relationships.
Scott was preceded in death by: parents, John E. and Barbara L. Hover; and brother, James Richard Hover.
Scott is survived by: daughter, Clare E. Hover, her mother Cathy "Kate" Bowling; sister, Robyn Cornett; brothers, Kevin (Mimi) Hover, Keith Hover, Chris Hover, and Brian (Tina) Hover; many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 11 AM until 1:00 PM. Limited family Service at 1:30 PM. MASKS are required, and social distancing will be observed.
Memorials may be directed to Boys and Girls Clubs of America in honor of Scott's past volunteer work as well as the value he always placed on education and striving for goals.
