Scott Thomas Lazur

Scott Thomas Lazur, 42 of Mason, passed away on August 21, 2022. Born to Thomas and Jackie (nee Cannaday) Lazur on November 25, 1979, in Rockford, Michigan.

A true family man with a tremendous amount of compassion, love, and sacrificing support for the ones he loved, Scott enjoyed every minute he spent with his wife, Susan, and three young sons. He took his boys boating in the summer, made trips out to the Island, and went on golf cart rides. From exploring bugs with Owen, to remote control cars with Logan, and snuggles with Ethan, his life was centered around his family.

Scott was a hardworking and dedicated person. He worked for over 20 years within the IT world. He graduated from The Ohio State University and was a Buckeye fan through and through. He made friends everywhere and kept lifelong friendships. His honesty and caring heart made it easy for people to love him. He will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lazur, stepfather, Michael Jilek, and grandparents, Marion and Helen Cannaday.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Susan Michelle (nee Eling) Lazur, three sons, Owen, Logan, and Ethan Lazur, mother, Jackie Jilek, sister, Ashleigh (Todd) Cousino, parents in law, Joan and Louis Eling, brothers in law, Brian (Kelli) Eling and Kevin (Karen) Eling, his nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26 ^th from 10:00AM-12:00PM, with a funeral service at 12:00PM, all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason OH 45040. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for his children may be made to The Scott Lazur Memorial Fund at General Electric Credit Union, 11311 Cornell Park Drive, Ste. 410 Cincinnati, OH 45242.
