Scott Mallon

Scott Ronald Mallon, 63, of Mason, passed away on November 17, 2024, after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. Scott was born to Hugh Ronald Mallon (Ron) and Bonnie (nee Bisher) Mallon on August 1,1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Scott graduated from Sycamore High School and went on to graduate with his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati. Meeting some of his lifelong friends and fellow actors, he loved performing with Rocky Horror group, Denton Affair and playing D & D for many years.

Scott enjoyed scouting as a young man and had a love of being outdoors, hiking and camping. He loved watching Doctor Who and Top Gear. He worked hard to provide for his wife and son as a pension administrator. He was an excellent example of a human being and friend, with a kind heart, a considerate soul with a love for people and animals.

Preceded in death by his father, Ron, and a brother, Shannon (Rob) Mallon. 

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Barb (nee Dawson) Mallon son, Steven Mallon, mother Bonnie, brother Stewart (Emily) Mallon as well as stepdaughter Kathy (Ross) Holthouse and their 2 children, and stepdaughter, Vicky (Wim) Borchert. 

 Memorial donations may be made in Scott’s name, if desired, to the ASCPA.
