Sergeant Somart Jason Pil, of the United States Marine Corps, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the age of 28.  He was born Tuesday, January 3, 1995 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Roeung M. and Jennifer Chanthan Pil.

A 2013 graduate of William Mason High School, Jason discovered his love of athletics.  He was a gifted runner and enjoyed golfing.  Along with watching anime, Jason enjoyed playing video games.  He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  Jason accomplished a lot in his short time on earth, but he would definitely boast his greatest accomplishment was becoming dad to his treasured daughter, Sabrina.

Jason is the beloved son of Roeung M. and Jenny Pil; grandson of Heng Taing; husband of Sierra Pil (nee Robbins); devoted father of Sabrina Heing Pil; dear brother of Sunny Pil and Leslie Pil; loving uncle of Konner Kash, Kai Pil, and Ace Pil; nephew, cousin, family member and friend to many.

Visitation will be at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Full Military Honors and Interment will be at Dayton National Cemetery on Monday, January 8 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Monday at 10 AM to process to the cemetery.
