Sharon Ann Lander, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born on June 6, 1943, in Hartford, Connecticut, Sharon's vibrant spirit and outgoing personality touched the lives of many during her remarkable journey through life.

An accomplished accountant for many years, Sharon dedicated her professional life to fostering growth and financial well-being for those around her. Yet, it was not just her career that defined her; it was also her deep faith and commitment to her spiritual community as an active member of Hope Church. Her unwavering faith provided her solace and strength, particularly in her final moments, where she welcomed the promise of seeing her Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face.

Sharon cherished her family above all. She was the proud wife of Joseph Lander, sharing many beautiful memories and fun adventures together. Their home was filled with love, laughter, and shared interests, although Sharon never quite grasped the allure of Bluegrass music, much to her family's amusement. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Michael (Brenda) Lander and Mary Jo (Mike) Hoffman. Her devotion extended to her grandchildren, Kayla (TJ) Hemming, CJ Reckner, Sydney Hoffman, Rachel Lander, Rebekah Lander, and Sarah Lander, who brought her immeasurable joy. The arrival of her great-grandchildren, Camden and Nora Hemming, further enriched her life, making her heart swell with pride and love.

Growing up in Hartford, Sharon developed a lifelong passion for travel, particularly enjoying summers at Point O' Woods Beach with her extended family. These treasured memories captured the essence of her joyful spirit and the bonds she forged with her loved ones. Sharon's great laugh and zest for life created a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.

She leaves behind her loving husband Joseph, her children Michael and Mary Jo, her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and siblings John (Ginger) Doherty, along with her sister-in-law Diane and brother-in-law Robert Foss. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Josephine (nee Moylan) Doherty, her brother Eddie Doherty, and her sister Gail Foss.

As we gather to celebrate Sharon’s life, we will remember her outgoing nature, her love for fun, and the wonderful times spent together as family and friends. Visitation will take place at Mueller Funeral Home in Mason, OH, on February 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Angstadt officiating.

Memorial donations may be directed to: Parkinson's Foundation or Hospice of Cincinnati.

Though she has departed from this earthly realm, Sharon Ann Lander's legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
