Sharon Niemantsverdriet

Sharon Kay Niemantsverdriet (nee Robbins) , 76 of Maineville, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. Born to Jesse and Martha Robbins (nee Sheets) on November 8, 1944 in Lafayette, Indiana.

Sharon is preceded in death by the love of her life of 51 years, John Niemantsverdriet, her parents Jesse and Martha Robbins, her siblings Betty Bonnette, Junior Robbins, Patsy Cockran and Jack Robbins. She is survived by her four sons Ronald Niemantsverdriet (Amy), Jeffery Niemantsverdriet (Stacy), Joseph Niemantsverdriet (Jessica) and Timothy Niemantsverdriet (Heather) and eight loving grandchildren, Jennifer, Hallie, Cole, Joshua, Mitchell, Anna, Sarah and Megan.

Sharon was always a Mother first. She worked in childcare and then babysat her grandchildren. She also volunteered for the Madeira Jaycees, which she truly enjoyed.

Sharon had a passion for quilting, sewing, and knitting and created beautiful pieces throughout her life. She enjoyed the holidays, but especially Christmas time. She mostly enjoyed spending time with family, watching a Bengals or Buckeyes game and reading mysteries.

Sharon had a wonderful, life-long group of friends who got together regularly. They called themselves the Dirty Dozen.
She will be missed by friends and family and all that got to know her.

A private family service will be held at Mueller Funeral Home. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery will follow. Memorial donations are requested in Sharon’s name to the Kidney Foundation.
