Sheila Merrill

Sheila (Combs) Merrill, age 60, passed away February 10, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born to Mose and Luverna (Stamper) Combs on August 15, 1963 in Campton, Kentucky.  Sheila met her beloved husband, Jim Merrill, while attending Newport Public High School.

Sheila was an active member at Christ's Church at Mason and enjoyed volunteering at various church events.  She had the unique gift of making everyone feel special and loved.  She had a quiet strength that was based on her foundation and relationship with God.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Jim Merrill; mother Luverna (John) Townsend; children Stacey Merrill, Ryan Merrill; siblings Gary (Angela) Combs, Gelyne Combs; niece Alexandra (Colton) Schoolcraft and nephew Joshua Combs.  She is also survived by many extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Mose Combs and daughter Kelsey Merrill.

A memorial gathering will take place at Christ's Church, 5165 Western Row Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00pm-3:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm.

Arrangements are in the care of Mueller Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ's Church in remembrance of Sheila.
