Shelby Caroline Henry

Shelby Caroline Henry passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27.

Born October 5, 1996 in Cincinnati, Shelby was raised in Liberty Township, Ohio.  Before she was even out of diapers, Shelby developed a love of water skiing.  A Lakota East High School 2015 graduate, she played lacrosse and cheered.  Competitive in nature Shelby cheered and danced with Midwest Cheer Elite for several years.

Born under the Libra sign, Shelby had a natural curiosity and a love of learning, seeking out new ideas and experiences.  She may have grown up on the water, but her heart was in the mountains.  She loved Colorado and would find any excuse to be "shredding pow" in the mountains.  Shelby had an infectious personality with a smile that could light up a room.  She truly never met a stranger.  Shelby will be forever treasured by all that knew and loved her.

Shelby was preceded in death by: mother, Donna J. Henry; paternal grandmother, Carol Flynn; maternal grandparents, Richard Constable and Jean Constable; and paternal great-grandfather, Arthur Claxton.

Shelby is survived by: father, Roger Henry; sister, Kaylie (Nick) Green; brother, John "J.T." Henry; niece, Callahan Green and Baby Green on the way; paternal grandparents, John and Christy Henry; paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Claxton; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Please bring a favorite memory and/or picture you can leave with the family in the register book.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Dan Wheeler officiating.  Family and friends will be encouraged to share a few words expressing how Shelby touched their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) .
