Shirley Deloach

Shirley E. (nee Dorsey) DeLoach, 81 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, with her family by her side. Born to Arthur R. and Violet E. (nee Spencer) Dorsey on August 22, 1939, in Nettie, West Virginia.

Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, talking and shopping any chance she could. She was an avid shopper. Anyone who wanted to go with her, made shopping even better for Shirley. When she couldn’t get out, she enjoyed ordering things from QVC and Home Shopping Network.

In her younger years she would travel to see her family in West Virginia, see her late husband’s family in Georgia and make time for a stop at the beach.

She lived a simple life of, relaxation, faith, and her family. Shirley will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Violet Dorsey, her husband, Revis Letherage “R.L.” DeLoach, two sisters, Wilda Hanna and Gilda Foster, many brothers and sister’s in-law.

Shirley is survived by her loving daughter, Christi DeLoach, two granddaughters, Courtney Davis and Carrie Davis, great-grandson, Luka Jax Canales, brother-in-law, Loren Foster, dear friend, Sandy Bigham and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 6th from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will follow in West Chester Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Shirley’s name to the American Cancer Society.
