Shirley Ann Green

Shirley A Green, 93, passed away peacefully the morning of August 10, 2024 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.  She was born to the late Ralph “Abe” H Soule Sr. and Rose (Ruffner) Soule on July 3, 1931 in Butler, PA.  Shirley was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John J Green Sr; daughter Deborah Babb; brother Ralph H Soule Jr and sister Marilyn M Blankenship. Shirley is survived by her children John (Rebecca) Green Jr, Wanda (Larry) Martin, Kathryn (late Harold) Baxter, Donald Green, Lisa (Bob) Mobley; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.  Two of Shirley’s jobs were at Proctor and Gamble and then she went on to retire from the US Post Office in Mason and West Chester, Ohio after many years of service.  She enjoyed playing bingo, computer games, reading loved inspired mystery books, attending Forest-Dale Church of Christ, and listening and singing along with her music.  A graveside service will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery, 171 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 2:00pm.  Arrangements are in the care of Mueller Funeral Home.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.muellerfunerals.com
