Simeon Paul Copple

Simeon Paul Copple, of Wilmington, formerly of West Chester, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, one day prior to his 63rd birthday, while vacationing in China. Simeon was born Tuesday, April 24, 1956 in London to Walter T. and Brenda (nee Hempstead) Copple.

After 6 years of dating, Simeon married his best-friend and sweet-heart, Ann Phizacklea. August 6, 1983, the couple said "I Do" in Dalton-in-Furness, a lake district in England. They would welcome a son and daughter to make their family complete.

As an Aerospace Production Engineer, Simeon enjoyed being able to travel for work and for pleasure. One of his favorite destinations was England. Simeon had a generous heart and was willing to help anyone, finding pleasure in making others happy.

You can take the boy out of Great Britain, but you can't take the Britain out of his heart. With a love of satirical comedy, Simeon loved Monty Python as well as Tom Lehrer. His choice of music would include Genesis and Queen. If you combined the comedy or music along with a Gin & Tonic, life was good.

Simeon will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Simeon was preceded in death by: parents, Walter and Brenda Copple; and mother-in-law, Dot Phizacklea.

Simeon is survived by: wife of 36 years, Ann Copple; son, Ty (Erin Koehler) Copple; daughter, Rachael Copple; brother, Richard (Karen) Copple; father-in-law Allen Phizacklea brothers-in-law, Allen T. (Wendy) Phizacklea and Mark (Tina) Phizacklea; sister-in-law, Jeanette (Jim) Anderson; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow from 7:15 PM at The Dingle House Irish Pub & Grill at Union Center.
