Stacey Tate

February 12, 1958 — April 21, 2019

Stacey Tate, of Mason, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was born Wednesday, February 12, 1958 in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania to Thomas George and Kathleen Julia (nee Smith) Tate.

On Saturday, June 23, 1979, Stacey married his lifelong sweetheart, Valerie L. Bauman. The next 40 years, would bring them lots of laughter, joy, a few challenges, and lots of love. Stacey made a point to put his family first. With a quick wit and great sense of humor, it was easy to call Stacey a friend. He was that person who would put his own needs aside to help another.

As Program Manager for RHI US LTD, Stacey loved his job. He was dedicated to the company as they went through numerous owner/name changes. Working his way up the corporate ladder he is responsible for a couple patents.

An avid outdoorsman, Stacey loved to go camping, fishing and hunting. It is no wonder he is one of the few to actually earn his Eagle Scout. Stacey also loved wrestling and football, whether it was playing it or watching his beloved Penn State Nitty Lions or Steelers on TV.
