John Stephen "Steve" Gallagher, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the age of 69. He was born Wednesday, April 23, 1952 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Regardless of anything going on, there was nothing more important to Steve than family. He dedicated years to supporting his children's sports and activities and later gave that same devotion to his grandchildren. Organized sports was a big part of Steve's life and he was most definitely a UC Bearcat fan. Steve's long career in the automotive field began as a parts truck driver when he was 18 and attending the University of Toledo. After gaining invaluable experience in every aspect of a dealership, he ended his career as a training consultant. Born with an eye for photography, Steve enjoyed editing pictures he had taken. If there was a holiday, party, game, wedding or some other form of celebration, you could count of Steve to be there with his video camera ready to capture everything. Being a mentor came naturally for Steve and he has touched many lives that will forever remember and cherish his love.

Steve was preceded in death by: parents, Royer and Gloria (nee Gloyne) Gallagher; and sister, Teri Gibson.

Steve is survived by: wife, Linda (nee Thieman) Gallagher; children, Michele (Brian) Toelke; Michael (Regan) Gallagher; and Melissa (Aaron) Hurst; grandchildren, Devin, Chase, and Rowan Toelke, Andrew Gallagher, and Keegan, Keeley and Kenley Hurst; siblings, Col. Mike Gallagher, Mufi Shields, Pat (Debbie) Gallagher, Chuck (Debbie) Gallagher, Kip (Honey) Gallagher, and Christine Gallagher; his beloved dogs, Rudy and Rocky; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Graveside Service will be Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Toledo Memorial Park.
