Tania de la Rosa Garzon, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of November 19, 2024. She was born on November 14, 2002 in Mexico City, Mexico to her loving parents, Luis de la Rosa and Gladys Garzon. Tania graduated from Cincinnati Hill Christian Academy, class of 2021. She was currently attending UC and studying Psychology, pre-med. She fell in love with volleyball and swimming and was a member of the CHCA teams for several years. She was a passionate advocate for justice and a devoted guardian of both animals and people in need. Tania’s greatest love was her family and was immensely proud of her Mexican heritage. She loved her Momma and Pappa, her brother Emilio whom she called best friend, her beautiful younger sister Regina, her uncles, aunts, cousins, she cultivated an unbreakable bond with her grandmothers Elba and Gladys. Tania deeply admired her grandfathers, Luis Alonso and Leobardo aspiring to follow in their footsteps to become a doctor one day. Her vibrant personality and smile could light up an entire room, she would talk to anyone no matter who the person was and would ask questions to satisfy her infinite curiosity about why the world is how it is. She will be forever remembered by all that knew and loved her. Tania is survived by her parents; siblings Emilio, Regina and her beloved dogs Luna and Roscoe. A Memorial Mass will take place at Good Shepherd, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249 on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:00am. Arrangements are in the care of Mueller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation or NAMI, a mental health organization.
