Theodore "Ted" Cwiok

Theodore Cwiok, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 70. He was born Tuesday, August 31, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to Joseph and Rosetta (nee Moritz) Cwiok.

Ted grew up in Dayton and later served in the Ohio National Guard. He retired from Convergys after 35 years in the telecommunications industry. Ted enjoyed running, and finished the New York City Marathon and many other distance races. Ted liked to play golf and loved listening to music, especially the Beatles, Eric Clapton and the Eagles. Ted loved cars, and had a soft spot for early model Corvettes.

Proud of his family and friends, Ted prized spending time with them more than anything. He was a devoted grandfather to his 4 grandchildren and a frequent attendee of soccer and baseball games, dance recitals and plays. Ted also loved spending winters in Florida with Rosemary and their Vero friends.

Ted is survived by: his wife, Rosemary (nee Kovach) Cwiok; son, Ted (Chrissy) Cwiok; daughter, Courtney (Andrew) Simon; grandchildren, Kyle Magee, Gracie Magee, Sophia Simon and Margo Simon; sister, Diane Huth; brother, Joe Cwiok; and many loving family members and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at The Community of the Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the SPCA Cincinnati.
