Thomas Yelton

Thomas Ellis Yelton, 75 of Morrow, passed away on February 24, 2022, surrounded by family. Born to Kenneth Ellis and Louise (nee Bearden) Yelton on August 19, 1946, in Covington, Kentucky.

Tom was a wicked-awesome dad. He had the biggest heart and those who knew him, loved him to pieces. His love didn't stop with his children, he was the best popah, a devoted family man and beloved husband.

Tom was a strong, dedicated, determined, and courageous man. He was compassionate and kind. The best way to describe him would be firm; yet loving and goofy.

In his spare time, Tom enjoyed playing golf, he had a love for boating, fishing and spending time with his family during camping trips. He was a private pilot and worked at Kings Island as a ride mechanic for over thirty years, retiring in 2006.

In 1989 Tom became a member of Grace Baptist Church where he was a trustee, deacon, choir member and Sunday school teacher for many years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Louise Yelton and brother-in-law, Dave Erion.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Anita (nee Oliver) Yelton, two children Ty Ellis Yelton and Tami Marie Yelton McMullin (Tony), six grandchildren, Tori Ellise Yelton, Jessica Marie McMullin- Prior (Oliver), Zane Thomas McMullin (fiancé Kylie Damron), Trevor Ellis Yelton, Jackson Anthony McMullin and Connor William Yelton, five great -grandchildren, Thomas Anthony McMullin, Lillianna Marie McMullin, Greyson Hayes McMullin, Nora Ellise Walden and Joseph Martin Prior, two siblings, Timothy Albert (Carleen) Yelton, Kenna Lee Yelton Galloway (Tony), and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3rd from 10:00 AM - 12:00 NOON with a funeral service at 12 NOON all at Grace Baptist Church, 5595 Mason Road, Mason, OH 45040. Interment will be held privately at Floral Hills Memorial, Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
