Timothy James Scott, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 17. 2022 at the age of 75. He was born Thursday, November 7, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Eugene and Eldora (nee Combs) Scott.

Tim enlisted in the United States Navy at the young age of 17, serving on the aircraft carrier USS WASP CVS-18 . While stationed at Andrews Airforce Base in Maryland, Tim met the love of his life, Gloria Garton. One year later, the couple were married on October 1, 1965 and began creating a lifetime of memories.

As a plumber, Tim was proud to be past president of Union Plumbers Local 59, and a member of Plumbers & Pipefitters 392. He was charismatic, never meeting a stranger, and always ready with a joke. Like his father, Tim was talented at woodworking and enjoyed creating heirloom treasures for family and friends.

With a charitable heart, Tim was known as the "Favorite Uncle" to his nieces and nephews. He coached baseball for his nephew and the neighborhood kids, making sure everyone had the chance to play. Tim will be forever loved and cherished by all that knew him.

Tim was preceded in death by: parents, Eugene and Eldora Scott.

Tim is survived by: wife, Gloria Scott; daughters, Missi Peters and Heather Gruneisen; grandchildren, Amanda Absher, Cody (Chelsea) Peters, Ava Gruneisen, and Maggie Gruneisen; great-grandchildren, Zeppelin Absher, Hunter Day, Riley Peters, and Noah Peters; siblings, Barbara (Fred) Wallace, Rick (Merlyn) Scott, Paula (Jim) Riley, and Andrew (Susan) Scott; 44+ nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and friends including, Steve and Janette Hermes, Tim Gabriel, Marty Ferris, and Jim Little.

Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will immediately follow in West Chester Cemetery.
