Toshiko 'Obaachan' Rodriguez (Uechi) passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born to Anmo and Kamado (Ganeko) Uechi in Okinawa, Japan.

Toshiko was our trailblazer leaving all that she loved behind in Okinawa. She always worked incredibly hard from a switch board operator to the top food demonstrator at Sam’s club. But she always made sure family came first from dinners to playing with the grand kids. As long as we never forget her, she will never truly leave us.

She is the beloved wife of the late Henry Rodriguez, devoted mother of Debi Kaplan and Tina Bangerter and stepmother of Ray Rodriguez, Evelyn Vega, Eddie Rodriguez and Henry Rodriguez, loving grandmother of Joshua, Stephanie, Christopher, Matthew, Ryan, Jason, Danielle, Theresa, Daniel, Eddie, Jr., Sandra and great-grandmother of Jacqueline, Elizabeth, Bradley, Grayden, Ryder, Charlie, Savannah and Olivia.

Visitation at Mueller Hicks Funeral Home & Crematory, 6780 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005 on MONDAY, March 17, 2025 from 10 AM until time of Service at 11:30 AM. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, OH.
