Walter L. Gerano Jr.

Walter L. Gerano Jr. passed away suddenly on July 28, 2024.

He was born in Columbus, OH on August 18, 1953, to Walter and Betty Gerano.

He attended Wright State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. After graduating he went on to become a sales consultant, he worked in many different roles at Anthony Cole Training Group over the years.

He met the love of his life Anne Duckwall through her brother Carl on the 4th of July 1976 and they married on December 18, 1976.  They had a beautiful life and raised two wonderful boys, Mark Gerano (Natalie) and Michael Gerano (Chelsea).

Walt enjoyed many things in life, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Maria, Nicolai, Nixon and Naomi. He is also survived by his brothers Bobby Gerano, Melvin and Alan Rife and many extended family members and friends.

Walt enjoyed golfing at Bel-Wood Country Club with friends and family, an occasional trip to the casino to play slots, fishing in his backyard, and enjoying a fine cigar on the patio.

Family will be greeting visitors in the gathering space Friday August 2nd at St. Susanna Church beginning at 10:00am with a memorial mass to follow beginning at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers you may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association .
