William C. Biehl, Jr, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the age of 87. He was born Tuesday, December 6, 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio to William C. and Mabel (nee Seward) Biehl.
Following his graduation from Hamilton High School in 1950, Bill enlisted in the United States Navy. He served four years during the Korean Conflict receiving the National Defense Service Medal and Navy Occupation Service Medal "E". Not long after being honorably discharged, Bill married his soulmate, Marie A. DeMartino.
Attending the University of Cincinnati, Bill received his bachelors degree in Industrial Management. He worked for several local companies in Administrative positions before retiring from U.S. Playing Card Company in 1990 as Vice President C.F.O. Following retirement, Bill was able to travel extensively throughout Europe, even living in Spain for a year.
Bill was preceded in death by: parents, William and Mabel Biehl; wife, Marie A. Biehl; and sisters, Anetha (Jim) Sheard, Shirley (Glenn) Baughman, and Margie (John) Pennington; and a niece.
Bill is survived by: children, Barbara (Brendan) Mitchell, Loren Biehl, and William (Julie) Biehl, III; grandchildren, Rose Marie Biehl, William Biehl IV, Madeline Mitchell ; several nieces and nephews; long-time special friend, Margaret Hammack; and a host of loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Face masks are REQUIRED and Social Distancing guidelines will be followed. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the Funeral Home, seating will be limited. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, OH.
Memorial Donations may be made to Mason Christian Village Benevolent Fund or to Hospice of Cincinnati.
