William James Henderson

William James Henderson - September 18, 1944- August 3, 2022

Bill was the beloved husband of Judith Henderson (nee Tolle).  Loving dad of Jim (Heather) and Rachel (Rob Eckman). Cherished grandpa of Jacob, Hannah, Hadley Henderson, Sam and Grace Eckman.

Bill was raised in Hobbs Indiana and graduated from Tipton High School.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University Krannert School of Management before building a career in Sales and Operations Management. He and Judy were longtime residents of Lafayette and Greenwood Indiana before relocating to be near family in Cincinnati Ohio.

Bill enjoyed Indy car racing, science fiction entertainment and watching Purdue Boilermaker sports. He lived in Cincinnati long enough to become a Reds fan and he and Judy enjoyed watching games together in recent months at home and earlier with friends at their favorite local hang outs. His favorite pastime has always been being with family and cheering on his grandchildren in countless football games, lacrosse matches, piano recitals, band concerts and soccer games. His family will miss his constant unconditional love, support, quiet strength, quick wit and sense of humor.  Judy will especially miss her most treasured sunset companion.

A Celebration of Life will take place on a later date in Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
