William F. Mason, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, September 9, 2019 in the comfort of his home. He was born April 1, 1929 in Covington, Kentucky to Herbert and Myrtle (nee Barnett) Mason.
An honorably discharged veteran, Bill was proud that he served in the United States Army. Boating was a way of life for the Mason Family, with friends that have become family over the years at Lake Cumberland. His family will remember him as a hard worker dedicated to his family.
William was preceded in death by: parents, Herbert and Myrtle Mason; wife, Diane (nee Luke) Mason; son, Bruce Ronald Mason.
William is survived by: daughter, Linda Mason; granddaughters, Stephanie "Stevie" Nix and Teri Mason; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jane Bradford; several loving sisters-in-law; niece, Janine Bradford; nephew, Mark Bradford; and many loving extended family members and friends including Rick Hancock.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 11:30 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will immediately follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to: American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
