William Carl Means

William (Bill) Carl Means, age 71, passed away May 21, 2024.  He was born to the late Wilbur and Nora (Flanagan) Means on January 13, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Bill graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in Pittsburgh, PA, before attending The Peddie School in Hightstown, N.J., where he played on their 1970 undefeated football championship team.  Bill later graduated from Edinboro University, and used his education to carve out a successful information technology career in Erie, PA and Cincinnati, OH.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Daileen (Miller) Means; children Marisa (fiancé Derek Brancheau) Means, Billy (Meade) Means; grandchildren Lavender Means and Liam Means, and siblings Nancy, Tim and Mike.

A memorial gathering will take place at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 3:00pm-4:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 4:00pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
