William C. Vanderheid

William Carl Vanderheid, 76, of Mason, Ohio, passed away on December 21, 2022. Born to William Vanderheid and Lillian (nee Rockenbrock) Vanderheid Schulte on March 1, 1946, in Tonawanda, New York.

Bill enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, golfing, backpacking, hiking, skiing and traveling with his family every chance he could. A natural born photographer, Bill had a passion and an eye for beautiful pictures.
Preceded in death by his parents, William Vanderheid and Lillian Vanderheid Schulte and his siblings, Anne Vanderheid and Mark Vanderheid.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Vera Long; his children, Christine J. (Chris Nye) Vanderheid, William M. Vanderheid, Kay Long and Kevin Long; his grandchildren, Tristan Long-Richards, Alexandra Vanderheid-Nye, Madeline Vanderheid-Nye, Avalon Long-Richards and Tewodros Stricevic; his sister, Nancy (Gary) Vanderheid-Metzger; and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 AM followed by a luncheon at
Mueller Funeral Home. 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Bill, can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
