Wilma J Knoop

Wilma J. Knoop passed away peacefully at age 93 on March 23, 2024 with her family by her side. Wilma was the loving wife of the late Merrill E. Knoop.  They were married for 60  years.  She was the cherished mother of David Knoop, Steven Knoop and Mary Ann (Tom) Rose.  She was the beloved grandmother of Sydney Rose, Justin Rose and Jordan Rose. Wilma was a life long resident of Mason, Ohio.  She was born on March 13, 1931 to the late William H. and Brenda (nee Randall) Irwin. Wilma was preceded in death by her sisters and their spouses Jean (Paul) Ries, Lidalee (Eldred) Garrison, Carolyn J. Irwin and Martha I. Scott.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of William Mason High School Class of 1949.  She previously worked in the office for the Boy Scouts of America. Wilma enjoyed spending time with her family.  She liked to play cards, solve crossword and jigsaw puzzles and watch tennis, the Cincinnati Reds and the Lawrence Welk Show. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. We will be remembering Wilma on Thursday, March, 28 at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 and a service will follow at 2:00.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the Alzheimer’s Association at https://www.alz.org/get-involved-now/donate .
