Raymond Alden Harmon, 59 of West Chester, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Born to Reverend Earl C. and Wilma Florence (nee Mason) Harmon on March 27, 1962, in Springdale, Ohio.
Ray graduated from New Miami High School. He then proudly served in the United States Air Force prior to continuing his education at Cincinnati State, Thomas Moore College and then received his masters from Ball State. He worked as a computer programmer at Kendle International and Vantiv before starting his teaching career at Cincinnati State Community and Technical College in the computer programming department.
Ray was caring, adventurous, true to God and an all-around funny guy. He had a zest for life and enjoyed traveling the country either on motorcycle trips with his buddies or camping, especially in the mountains, in his RV. Although the beach wasn’t his favorite spot, he made the exception when he had his best friend/wife by his side.
Ray enjoyed watching many different sports teams, especially the Cincinnati Reds, the Bengals, OSU football, Duke University men's basketball and NASCAR racing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Earl and Wilma Harmon, brother, Phillip Preston Harmon and mother-in-law, Arlene Fleming.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Regina (nee Fleming) Harmon, two daughters, Nicole (Patrick) Harmon Roe and Shelby Harmon, two stepchildren, Nolan Spears, and Natalie Spears, two grandchildren, Liam, and Lake Spencer, one sister, Jessemyn Sue (Michael) Burns, two nephews, Gregory (Barbie) Burns and Preston Harmon, father-in-law, Bruce Fleming, several cousins, and many lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11 th from 2:00-3:00pm with a service at 3:00pm all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.
