We worked with a local developer to design our building ourselves and built it from scratch - with you in mind.
We knew the unique requirements of this type of service and the challenges many of our clients may face at other facilities: lack of parking, inconvenient locations, spaces too large or too small, technical limitations for audio-visual elements, and the hassle of having to plan a reception at another location once the funeral services conclude.
We want you to feel at home.
Our Arts and Crafts building has a cozy, transitional style that can accommodate the conservative and the unconventional. We designed the building with wide hallways and big windows to let the light flow in and created just-right spaces to bring people closer while giving them room to meditate and grieve. We added lofts, porticos, and porches to make it feel more like home. We hand-picked the decor and chose jewel tones for elegance. When it came to furniture, we chose wood for warmth and sofas with gorgeous lines and abundant comfort. We offer a variety of seating choices that we can arrange according to your specifications.
For ambience, we dressed our wide windows with rich curtains, added glowing sconces on the walls, and installed dimmer switches on all our ceiling lights so you can infuse the space with lighting that feels right. Our surround-sound system and flat-screens enable us to play your choice of music, put an audio-visual memorial DVD on display in any room, or stream your service anywhere in the building.
We also wanted to create a place where you can host all elements of your service - from visitation to service to reception. That's why we created a coffee lounge with a fireplace so you can serve light refreshments, turned our lower level into a reception hall, and provided a generous parking lot.
